Deck Name:
Phrog Tarot
Creator/Publisher:
Lida Pavlova
Vibe in a Sentence:
Like if a frog got tired of your nonsense and made a tarot deck about it.
Key Themes:
Frogs. Duh 🙄 Existential mud baths, and amphibian side-eyes.
Availability:
Possibly summoned during a thunderstorm. Occasionally on Etsy. Elusive, and probably judging you for not finding it sooner.
First Impressions:
OMG I LOVE THIS!… OMG I LOVE FROGS.. who knew.. not me.
Best For:
People who read tarot in sweatpants and want brutal honesty from a cartoon frog.
Not For:
Folks who say things like “I prefer a more refined aesthetic” while polishing their Rider-Waite.
Card Stock and Quality / How It Handles in Use:
Glass lamination, Shiny green edges, 400 gsm. kinda thick; can riffle with effort, but kind of fun to hand over hand. I love this deck even if I had to do the “washing machine shuffle” I’d still love this deck.
Guidebook/Voice:
Basic PDF. Its not about the guidebook. The guidebook doesn’t have much voice, but the cards sing!
How It Reads:
Like your emotionally detached friend who tells the truth and then eats a bug.
Deck Personality:
The tarot equivalent of frog Twitter: no context, weird wisdom, unexpectedly deep.
Keep or Rehome:
We will be in our final resting place together.
Pairing Ideas:
(List tarot/oracle decks it pairs well with — based on your taste and aesthetic preferences.)
Final Thoughts:
It’s like a frog licked your third eye and said, “good luck.”
